Maison Jacaranda is the promise of an immersive inspirational escape, a secret countryside hideaway in a picturesque home surrounded by a wealth of undulating verdant landscapes with far-reaching views of the French “bocage”, set in a secluded hamlet in the peaceful region of the Vienne in central rural France.

The Living room
Downstairs there is comfortable seating for four in a spacious living room with two armchairs and a two seater sofa, kept warm thanks to our underfloor heating and a cosy wood burner. The library is filled with books on the history and craft of Textiles for you to enjoy as you snuggle up for a relaxing afternoon.
The Studio
The Archive lives in our downstairs studio which houses a collection of over 50,000 antique textiles and clothing pieces dating from early 18th to late 20th century. Your Studio Space includes two well lit large stand up work surfaces of 180 cm long, 80 cm wide on average and one sit down desk of 160 cm long and 70 cm wide.
The Kitchen
Equipped with all amenities, the kitchen has a nice view one of the terrace and direct access to a private garden. A selection of wellies and umbrellas are at your disposal for nature walks.
The Garden
The house has a well kept private garden and front yard for your exclusive use. The garden is maintained by us and our gardener. Thanks to two private terraces you have plenty of space to relax, enjoy the outdoors and dining alfresco in the warm seasons. You also have access to a communal swimming pool in the spring/summer.

The Sage Room
A COSY ENSUITE DOUBLE BEDROOM
The Sage Room is a cosy ensuite double bedroom in the eaves of the house, painted in a sage-like pale green colour.
Maison Jacaranda has two cosy bedrooms in the eaves of the house. You will have the option of either single or double occupancy. Single occupancy means you are booking the Sage room and the entire cottage, double occupancy means you are booking both the Sage and Magnolia bedrooms and the entire cottage.

The bedroom has a new double bed with 100% cotton bed linen, plush bedding and a comfortable hybrid mattress. There is a window desk with view onto your private garden, plenty of personal storage and a private bathroom. The window over the bathtub fills the room with sunlight and offers stunning sunset views.
The Magnolia Room
A COSY DOUBLE BEDROOM
The Magnolia Room is a cosy bedroom in the eaves of the house, painted in a dusty pink colour.
The bedroom has a new double bed with 100% cotton bed linen, plush bedding and a comfortable memory foam mattress. There is a window desk with view onto your private garden, plenty of personal storage and a private washroom with toilet. There is a downstairs walk-in shower for your exclusive use.
