Jacaranda Design Archive was founded by Deby and Richard Earls. For the last 24 years, they have accumulated a vast collection of textiles and garments dating from the mid eighteenth to late twentieth century.
The Archive, passed down from Jennifer Corkill-Callin, Deby’s mother, is above all things a family affair. Jacaranda has grown to be one of the most influential archives in the world. It is built on three generations of experience in textiles and design and has an unparalleled, worldwide client base in haute couture, home furnishings, ready to wear and paper products. Privately sourced from the armoires and attics of Europe, the archive comprises documents, vintage garments and accessories.
Whilst the Archive has travelled worldwide from San Francisco, all over Europe to Calcutta visiting a widespread of fashion and home furnishing companies, its home is here, in a cosy hideaway in peaceful rural France.
The Suitcase
In response to these ever changing times we have created “The Jacaranda Virtual Suitcase” where you can see the collection we would have been travelling with to show clients. We are always adding new pieces to the collection. The archive strives to maintain variety in origin, print and period of the pieces it holds and also in the curation it undertakes when showing to clients. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you are interested in finding out more.
